This crank bolt is not your normal bolt, it sandwiches the crank hub and the “grip disc” on the backside of it to the timing chain crank sprocket, which then mates to a “grip disc” on the front side of the oil pump crank sprocket, which pushes a “grip disc” on the back of the oil pump crank sprocket and mates that to the crankshaft.
