Though the heat won't entirely subside by the weekend, large portions of the eastern U.S. will see conditions improve over the next few days. Check the forecast before heading out at weather.gov, and if you're planning on working or playing outside in hot conditions: ✅ Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol. ✅ Wear light-colored clothing and sunscreen. ✅ Try to make your outdoor time early or very late in the day. | U.S. National Weather Service (NWS)

Combining data from multiple radars and multiple sensors (known as MRMS), we can put together a more complete picture of what kind of precipitation larger scale storms are producing.
