Flushing a Navien A2 model tankless using the descaling control parameter This is a new feature on the A2 models. The timer is set in the service menu of the control. It starts the circulator for the duration of the service. Water quality is super important in all parts of a plumbing system. Tankless water heaters are susceptible to early failure when supplied with either poor water quality and/or minimum/no maintenance.
