I could care less how seams are pressed. Just please, please, PLEASE, press them consistently! Personally, I press seams open. I like the flatness of the seam and this helps me match seams accurately. But I also DON'T stitch in the ditch. I echo ditch or ignore the ditch when machine quilting. How do you press seams?
