How well do you know the Scots language? I'm not talking about Scottish Gaelic, this is something completely separate from Lowland Scotland! Here are the words: Bairn - A Child Ken - To Know something/someone Peece - Your lunch, usually a sandwich Off to get the messages - The shopping/groceries. Braw - good/nice. Dreich - wet, grey weather Havering - talking nonsense Blether - Chat Weesht- be quiet Glaikit - stupid or daft. Bahookie - Bum Coorie in - Cuddle/Nestle "It's going to be a braw brigh
