Polisi turut mendalami penyebab tenggelamnya KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya di Selat Bali pada Rabu (2/7) lalu. Bangkai kapal telah ditemukan dalam kondisi tengkurap di kedalaman 47,12 hingga 50 meter, sekitar 3,9 kilometer dari lokasi awal kecelakaan. Ditpolairud Polda Jatim Kombes Pol Arman Asmara Syarifudin mengungkapkan, temuan ini berdasarkan hasil pencitraan bawah laut menggunakan Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) dan Side Scan Sonar.
