DIY Hay Bale Cold Frame 🌾❄️ A great way to extend your outdoor growing season is by making this simple hay bale cold frame. 😊🌾 It can be scaled up or down depending on your growing space too. If you have a large vegetable garden then simply add more bales, or if you only have a balcony garden or yard, take some away. For ours we used 6 hay bales, then stacked them to create a closed rectangle. Now you can either use it as it is to protect seedlings, or add around 8-10 inches of compost to cre
