Setting large format tile over a large area can be tricky, there was an unseen high spot around the casing of the window that we missed, this caused our first tile to crack at the corner when we were trying to install it. We cut another one, notched the back of the tile with 1/2” notched trowel and 3/8” notched trowel where the high spot was.
