Today we released Pyari back to the ocean after more than 3 months of treatment. She is part of a pioneering study with Smithsonian Institute of Conservation Biology on the behavior of three-limbed sea turtles. We used a shower bed because she’s so critical that she isn’t able to go into any deeper water at the moment. 🚿 After the long rinse, we brought her back to the turtle hospital to start removing her barnacles.
