How I form a platter from a textured slab. I created this balloon texture using a wooden rolling pin from Vermont Pottery Works @epdiamond I use the large oval form from @gr.pottery.forms to create the platter shape. I’ll carefully dry it with weights on the center flat portion, so it will not warp. I’ve posted that technique in the past.
