Helpful tips for installing a new caliper! Whenever you install a new brake caliper, you should pay attention to the following: Double check the caliper guide pins for proper torque. Clean the original bracket thoroughly with brake parts cleaner and lubricate the guide pins with hi-temp caliper grease. Double check the rubber dust boots that cover the base of the guide pins.
