The more I think about it, the more the time-loop ending is literally the only thing that actually fits the entire story. From Season 1 all the way through 4, everything keeps circling back to Will, the same patterns repeat, and nothing ever truly gets resolved. The Duffers keep hinting that the Upside Down is stuck in time, and if that’s true then the loop theory is the only explanation that ties every single loose end together.
