Englewood IS Black History! 🖤 Did you know the first woman to drive a CTA bus was from Englewood? In 1974, Mary Wallace made history as the first woman to drive a bus for the Chicago Transit Authority. An Englewood native, she remained on the job for 33 years before retiring.
