During live fire training, firefighters learn how to safely and effectively fight fires in controlled settings under supervision. These drills help prepare firefighters to think clearly and act calmly under stressful situations where lives are at stake. These training scenarios take place in burn buildings and are carefully monitored by Live Fire Training Instructor’s (LFTI’s).
