Using an antique ice saw and ice tongs from the pre-refrigeration days, Noel McCarthy cuts blocks of ice from Oneida Lake and drags them back to the work site on a toboggan. McCarthy and his partner, Kimberly Bement, are using the massive blocks to build an ice igloo on the frozen lake. When it's done, McCarthy estimates the igloo will weigh well over 8,000 pounds.
