Incentives shape behavior. Americans are leaving blue states for red states, and that costs democrats power. House seats and electoral votes are tied to population, not citizenship. Migrants help replace the bodies leaving without democrats having to fix their policies. That’s why they care so much. It’s not actually about the migrants in my opinion.
