Bored Cast-In-Situ Piles are deep foundations used when the ground surface isn’t strong enough on its own. A mechanical auger drills a vertical hole into the soil, concrete is poured inside, and a steel reinforcement cage is placed into the fresh concrete. Once it sets, it forms a strong underground column that safely carries the weight of the building.
