An Irish abuse survivor is to have a private audience with Pope Leo at the Vatican on Monday. David Ryan and his late brother Mark took part in an RTÉ Radio 1 Doc on One programme in November 2022, which revealed they had been repeatedly sexually abused at Blackrock College in south Dublin during the 1970s. Mr Ryan says he intends to outline the pain and suffering experienced by himself, his brother and all the other victims of abuse at the hands of the Catholic Church in Ireland. #catholic #sur
