We often get asked what nails we use with the siding adapter. 1 3/4” roofing coil nails, 0.12 shaft thickness 15 degrees is what’s needed. We have found that Bissett and Prime Fasteners brand works well in Canada. We know to stay away from Metabo as they aren’t 15 degrees and shoot crooked. Customers have had difficulty with Grip Rite nails as well. Roofing coils can be found in electro-galvanized, hot-dipped galvanized and stainless steel.
