**Tree Fern Care** There’s no skill involved. You’re basically just preventing frost from getting inside the crown of the tree (the top of the trunk). We don’t get much frost or snow here on the island as we have so much salt in the air but it only takes one frost to do the damage. Maybe they’d survive ok without this care but the big guys are 50 years old so I’m not taking any chances.
